My good friend Brandy came over to visit last night and brought her sweet baby girl, Brylee, with her. I hadn't seen Miss Brylee Lou since September! My goodness how she's grown! She was adorned with some serious bling yesterday when her mama took her to get her ears pierced. GAH! I need a little more little girl in my life. The cuteness is just over the top! Here are some shots I got of the lil punker while she was here visiting. Enjoy!

Weekend snow.

Since graduating college, obtaining my teaching license and landing the best job in the universe...there has been a serious problem with the snow. As in it only comes on weekends. What the heck happened to 2 hour delays?! OK, so we did just have a delay yesterday due to FOG (seriously, Mother Nature?)...but that's just not the same. At any rate, it snowed last night and I took advantage of the nice scenery that once was my front yard. I needed updated pictures of my sweet little monsters, so dragged them out into the slushy wet snow (perfect for snowman building!) and got a few shots. I love how perfect they are in pictures...all silent and whatnot. <3

Love this! They really are best buddies. Until somebody spits on somebody else.

This kid LOVES pockets! He looks like he's posed for a photo at all times.

We've hit that fake smile age. He's so cute when he's not trying so hard :)

Seriously. February lesson planning is super fun for me! Groundhog Day, Friendship week, Valentine's Day, President's Day....

I stumbled upon a new blog this evening while spending way too much time fulfilling my pinterest addiction. A Cupcake for the Teacher is chocked full of A.MAZ.ING ideas! What an awesome resource for teachers and homeschooling parents! Lovin it! I highly recommend checking her out for loads of February fun!

Ladies & Gentleman, Boys & Girls...

The hubby splurged this week and bought our family tickets to see the Shrine Circus! We went a couple years ago, when Max was 2, but Charlie has never gone. Needless to say, they LOVED it! The popcorn, cotton candy, pop and $10 light up souveniers were as exciting as the elephants and tigers and clowns (oh my). I thought I'd share a few snapshots of the little boogers enjoying the show (and the sugary grub).

ABC Bingo Fun

I printed off these awesome ABC BINGO cards for my preschoolers today. They're pretty amazing at letter naming lately, so I thought they'd really enjoy them. Turns out they're not the only letter naming whiz kids...Max loves to play ABC Bingo!! Check them out! Did I mention that I'm a Pinterest pinning fool? No? Oh, well I am. :)

In Northwest Ohio, January usually brings an over abundance of snow, making us beg and plead with Mother Nature to give us an early spring. This January, however, has been very unusual. I mean 50 degree days unusual. Over the past 36 hours, though, we got a tiny little sprinkling of snow. Just enough to bundle the kids up so much that they can barely walk. Enough to go out to have 15 minutes of fun before our toes are frozen solid and snot is running down our lip. Here are some shots of the little dudes having a blast. Shhh! No one tell Max, but I sort of fibbed and told him it was a "snow day" and we didn't have to go to school. I just left out the fact that it was Saturday.

Charlie loved the snow! Until he fell on his booty and couldn't stand back up.

I'm horrible at blogging.

I mean really awful. I have a photo business and never remember to update the blog, I've started a family blog a few times and that's been an epic fail as well. But this time is going to be different! There's too much going on in my life not to keep everyone updated. (Because I know you're all just dying to know all about me.)

Now you're all wondering who the nut is writing this. I'm Jessica. I'm a mom to two crazy boys who like to say "poop" alot. I graduated college with my bachelor's of science in education last summer after SIX long years and am a new teacher. :) I'm currently teaching the most amazing preschoolers ever. I'm also a photographer. Oh, and I'm a wife to a pretty tolerant husband who supports all my efforts to be all that I can be (great, I just took the Army's slogan...SOPA is gonna block me. Crap.)

Why do you care what I have to say? Eh, you probably don't. But, I'll feel a whole lot better if I feel like I have an audience and am no longer just talking to myself like a mad woman. So, if you'd like to contribute to me feeling not so crazy--come back and read often. (Because I am going to update my blog this time. Really.)
